Fast, Dirty

A minuteman maintains a 22-day phone-relationship with his editor/girlfriend and cousin while making the great American roadtrip from Massachusetts to San Francisco and back amid spiritual and sexual crisis as the country first discovers that a nuclear weapon has been stolen by a secret society of home-grown billionaires.

Dave Byron cracks a road trip from his boyhood home in the suburbs of Boston through the Capitol, Florida and Texas to San Francisco. He records the 'new high water mark' of the digital [non] hipster generation in a series of tapes he mails home to his girlfriend/editor Elsie. After spitting on the Standard Oil building, Dave meets San Francisco in full swing, his pizza wielding cousin Luke carving life from the tallparts of the city high in a modded dragster. Dave and Luke duel on the after hours streets, Dave's cafe racer winning the pie and they both get high, just in time for Dave to begin to long journey home. As he is about to leave, the whole nation learns that a secret government faction has just stolen a nuclear missile...

Based on real cheese.
